Our projects

Project 1:- Medical camp

Our first project at Akshar focused on the well-being of children. We conducted a health and hygiene camp at a government school, offering free medical and dental check-ups to over 180 students, many of whom had never received such care before. In addition to the check-ups, we held workshops on personal hygiene and menstrual health, fostering open conversations in a safe and supportive environment. The day was made even brighter with a drawing activity, where students had the chance to express themselves through art. Each child left with snacks, art supplies, and a sense of confidence, reminded that their health is just as important as their learning.

Project 2- Donation Drive

Our second project at Akshar is focused on gathering resources that directly support a child’s right to education. We are launching a donation drive in collaboration with Aarunya. We're gathering books, stationery, clothes, and other everyday essentials that can make a real difference in a child’s learning journey. This drive is our way of reminding them that they’re seen, supported, and never alone in their path to education. All collected items will be distributed directly to communities where such resources are often limited, helping reduce barriers to education and promoting a more inclusive learning experience. Together with Aarunya, we’re working towards a shared goal: enabling education through consistent, thoughtful, and practical support.
